In establishing the business unit Asset and Fund Management, ORCO Germany has created a third pillar on which to base its activities. The asset management platform already in place with the company is being expanded, which already covers all of the larger markets within Germany. This low-risk yield component will make a strong contribution to the operating result achieved by ORCO Germany by the additional revenue it generates. We are knowledgeable partners to investors requiring our expertise and know-how on location – both in terms of company operations and as regards the required funds. Thus, this platform can also be used to organize project financing if required. We have established sector-specific investment projects in Germany (such as Endurance Health Care) and continue to manage them. Funds are a growth market and enjoy a considerable inflow of capital in pension insurance policies, an increasing share of indirect real estate investment, and a growing demand for private retirement arrangements. Additionally, funds are able to offer investment strategies that are in line with investors’ diversification plans. They enable synergies to develop while ensuring that action is taken promptly and efficiently wherever needed. The fees they require are low.
